The Spanish cargo ship Río Miera, on December 6, 1951, suffered a collision and sank 4 miles from Cabo Mayor. At a depth between 38 and 45 meters in an area with strong currents, diving requires a high level of diving. Large congers, san pedro fish, lobsters and sometimes sunfish can be found on the wreck.
