DRAKE CORSAIR BOATS

In June 1589 the city of Vigo was sacked by the English under the orders of the famous Drake. There they were surprised by a storm from the south that caused two of his small boats to sink on the north coast of the estuary. They were immediately set on fire by the neighbors, to prevent their refloating. Currently only two groups of two guns remain. The remains have been heavily looted.
